Erin Michaels is Homeward Bound

If you’ve read any of the books in the Our Lady of Righteous Rage series or Companion series, you’re probably familiar with Erin Michaels. She’s the social media guru/good friend of the members of the series’ fictional band. She’s also the star of the books Novocaine, Another Shot of Novocaine and a second series of her own, Erin Michaels: Spooky B and Erin Michaels: Spooky With A Side of Creepy. She’s a goth catgirl who has no trouble speaking her mind, and she’s managed to fit in quite well with the rest of the characters in Our Lady. In her next adventure, Erin’s going on a little road trip with some of her girlfriends, to the place where she grew up: Hampton, Virginia. Erin’s ten year high school reunion is coming, and her school wants her to come and speak at the next graduation. Her past is something Erin doesn’t enjoy revisiting, and if she’s going to do it, she’s going to need some emotional support.

There are going to be some things that separate this book from any other Our Lady book. For starters, it’s cast is mostly (if not completely) female: Erin and some of the ladies of the Our Lady series, including Carmen and Olivia. And, it’s only going to be available to my Patreon followers. That’s right: Homeward Bound is going to be a Patreon exclusive…at least, for now.

Who says you can’t go home again? And who says you should?

Erin expects this trip to be a simple stroll down memory lane. However, she’s going to discover her memories may not be as accurate as she thinks they are, and many things about her childhood town have changed. Plus, there are some themes I’ve encountered I want to explore (one of them being the difference between living in the north versus living in the south). In the end, will Erin develop a deeper appreciation for her past or her present? Only time will tell…

Top: Carmen and Olivia; Bottom: Amy, Dee, Nisa and Erin

Much like the other Our Lady books, this book will be uncensored.

I’m working on Homeward Bound and I will release it chapter by chapter on Patreon, beginning mid September 2021. If you’d like to read it, you’re welcome to become one of my patrons on Patreon!
